“Like in the stories of Icarus and the Tower of Babel, I am persistently trying to transcend the boundaries of the system I live in. In my work, the physical limitations of human’s sensorial perception or gravity stand as a metaphors for the impossibility of such endeavours. The perpetually failed attempts, through their very repetitive pattern, gradually numb frustration and eventually dissolve into daily life. Human nature is irresistible.”
